Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 27, 2026
Incantio is a local-first prompt management application. This policy explains how we handle your data. The short version: your data stays on your device unless you choose otherwise.
Local data storage
All prompts, projects, tags, templates, and settings are stored locally in a SQLite database on your device. Incantio does not transmit this data to any server in its default configuration.
Waitlist submissions and launch emails
If you join the waitlist, we collect the information you submit with the form, including your email address and any optional fields such as name, interested plan, use case, and source page. This data is stored for waitlist operations and launch planning.
Joining the waitlist does not create an account, start billing, or reserve a Founder Pass. Waitlist submissions may be reviewed by the product owner and used for launch updates related to Incantio.
Founder Pass checkout records
Founder Pass is the only plan with a direct checkout path in this wave. Solo and Pro still route to the waitlist. A Founder Pass purchase records your order and payment, but it does not create an app account automatically.
If you go through Founder Pass checkout, Stripe acts as the payment processor and collects the billing details needed to complete the payment. We store only the checkout data needed for billing records, such as the Stripe session reference, customer email, plan, and payment status. We do not store raw card numbers.
AI features
The current public product contract does not ship personal provider-key input as a user-facing feature. If future versions add hosted AI providers, cloud AI requests, or personal key support, this policy will be updated before that flow is made publicly available.
Cloud sync (planned)
Cloud sync is a planned opt-in feature for paid plans. When available, it will allow you to back up and sync your prompt library across devices. Cloud sync will require an account and explicit opt-in. Your data will not be uploaded to any server unless you enable this feature.
Analytics and tracking
At the time of this update, the marketing website does not run a third-party analytics script. The application itself does not include analytics or telemetry. If privacy-respecting analytics are enabled later, this page will be updated before that change goes live.
Cookies
The marketing website uses only essential cookies. The application uses localStorage for preferences (theme, sidebar state) and, when authentication is enabled, session cookies for login state. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
Third-party services
Incantio does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. If a future public AI integration relies on a third-party model provider, that processor and data flow will be documented here before launch.
If launch emails are sent, delivery may use a transactional email provider such as Resend. In that case, only the data needed to send the email and basic delivery metadata would be shared with that provider.
Founder Pass checkout uses Stripe as the payment processor. Stripe receives the billing data needed to run checkout and provide receipts.
Children's privacy
Incantio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves (for example, when cloud sync launches). Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
